Update on the use and ownership of Paintball markers.

Since our statement on 19th January 2024 and subsequent update on 24th January 2024, we have had a lot of UKPSF members bring up certain aspects of the law. As we are not experts in firearms legislation and do not claim to be, we decided to get further advice from a firearms barrister to seek further clarification on the questions raised. We had tried to keep the advice/guidance simple, which may have left some room for interpretation. So, we are updating our advice as follows: Our core statement is still correct but for clarity will now be a little longer. The following is based on Home Office guidance and advice.  ‘Paintball Markers of any size can only be purchased by those over 18 for use in permitted activities such as skirmishing and re-enactment at a venue where suitable third-party liability insurance is in place. Physical UKPSF Membership Cards.

We are living in a digital world and UKPSF members will have been sent a digital player membership card. Some members have expressed a desire to have something physical. We did not want to waste a good percentage of the membership fee on creating physical cards but we understand some members might want one.

Send them the copy of your digital card and they will have the cool metal UKPSF Membership card made up for you. If you have signed up for the 5-year membership you will get your card printed on Gold and if you have opted for the 1-year it will be on Silver.
